Tomo Hotei ist eine schwerttragende Schülerin im 1. Jahr der Oberstufe an der Tenchi Academy und gemeinsam mit ihrer Shinyuu, Tsukasa Kikkawa, Mitglied und stellvertretende Anführerin des „Akira-Mikado“-Fanclubs, dem A-Team.

Tomo verwendet einen Speer als Waffe, obwohl es, bis zur Regeländerung des Hoshitoris, nicht erlaubt ist. Vor allem ist Tomo aber eins, eine erbärmlich schlechte Kämpferin, ganz gleich mit welcher Waffe.
