Arise Tsukishiro ist ein junges Talent der Agentur Hollyhock Productions. Zurzeit arbeitet sie gemeinsam mit ihrer erfahrenen Kollegin Hinako Amari, die sie schon seit Jahren für ihre Arbeit bewundert und in die sie verliebt ist, als Synchronsprecherin an einer Live-Hörspielproduktion für einen Radiosender. Arise mag „Shoujo“-Manga. Unter Alkoholeinfluss verändert sich ihre Persönlichkeit jedoch gewaltig und bei der sonst eher schüchternen Arise tritt eine sehr aggressive und fordernde Seite zu Tage, was vor allem Hinako zu spüren bekommt.
