Mew ist ein seltenes und legendäres Pokemon. Der Legende nach soll es DNS von allen Pokémon enthalten, dadurch kann es alle Attacken erlernen bzw. beherrschen. Team Rocket experimentierte mit den Genen von Mew, um ein starkes Pokemon zu erschaffen. Der Versuch glückte und so entstand das mächtige Mewtu.
