Miki führt ein italienisches Restaurant in Tokio. Ihre Angestellten sind verzaubert von ihrer Schönheit und ihrem Charakter – immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht, freundlich und nachsichtig. Da wird man schon neidisch, wenn man merkt, dass sie ein Auge auf den unschuldigen Taki wirft. Er ist für sie wie ihr kleines Kücken, auf das sie acht geben muss. Dabei fallen ihr auch immer wieder Takis Wunden aus seinen Raufereien auf. Sie findet er mache sich damit sein schönes Gesicht kaputt. Natürlich merkt sie auch, dass sich ihr Angestellter ein wenig in sie verguckt hat. Sie selbst hingegen findet das süß, aber empfindet keine Liebesgefühle für ihn.
