Shiki Kijima ist ein stadtbekannter Ghuljäger und Zweiter Fahnder, welcher vor allem durch sein grauenvolles Aussehen hervorsticht. Sein gesamter Körper ist mit Narben und Verbrennungen durch seine unzähligen Kämpfe mit Ghulen gebrandmarkt. Seine unkonventionellen und risikofreudigen Methoden stoßen bei seinen Kollegen häufig auf Kritik, so schreckt er auch vor Folter nicht zurück. Dennoch gibt das Ergebnis ihm zumeist recht.

Er ist wahrlich besessen von der Ghuljagd und möchte seine Untergebenen rächen, welche einst im Kampf starben. Er selbst scheint nicht mehr sonderlich an seinem Leben zu hängen und gibt dies auch mehrmals auf zynische Art und Weise zu. Seine jetzigen Untergebenen beschützt er und versucht stets, die Aufmerksamkeit seiner Gegner auf sich zu lenken.

Letztlich wird ihm genau dies zum Verhängnis und er stirbt im Kampf gegen Matsumae.
