Kyouko gehört zu den Ziegenmenschen und ist im Allgemeinen ein eher normales Mädchen. Sie hat eine ähnliche Statur wie ihre Freundin Nozomi, wird jedoch nicht für einen Jungen gehalten, da sie sich um ihr Äußeres kümmert. Außerhalb der Schulzeit arbeitet sie des Öfteren für ihren Vater als Sekretärin.

Ihre schulischen Leistungen sind sehr gut, jedoch hat sie ein großes Defizit in ihrer Ausdauer, da sie es aufgrund ihres sehr schnellen Stoffwechsels nicht als nötig erachtet, sich sportlich zu betätigen. Sie betrachtet die Dinge immer neutral und nüchtern, was sich auch in ihrem eher trockenen Humor widerspiegelt.
