Rodd Los ist der Anführer einer kriminellen Bande, gegen die selbst die Polizei machtlos ist. Er hat sich mit Mello verbündet, um an das Death Note zu gelangen. Rodd schreckt auch nicht vor den schlimmsten Verbrechen zurück, so lässt er Miller, ein Mitglied seiner Bande, nach einem Verstoß beseitigen. Er ist ein besonders kühler Typ, der sich nichts anmerken lässt. Allerdings vertraut er Mello blind und führt dessen Befehle ohne Widerrede aus, auch weil er sich einen Vorteil von dessen Anwesenheit erhofft.
