Einst war Murano als Murano the Samurai bekannt und ein gefürchteter Auftragsmörder. Doch diese Tätigkeit hat er schon länger an den Nagel gehängt, seiner Frau Akasha zuliebe. Nun hat sie ihn jedoch verlassen und er lungert nur noch vollkommen deprimiert und konsterniert in seinem Häuschen herum. Das kommt Satoshi Batista gerade recht, der ihn anheuern möchte Michiko zu töten, und auch wenn er zuerst das Geschäft ablehnt (weil er weder Frauen noch Kinder tötet), so lässt er sich dennoch schnell durch paar Scheinchen vom Gegenteil überzeugen, denn einst hat sein Credo »As long as you have money, women always come back« geheißen.
