Mit ihren 18 Jahren ist sie bereits eine sehr erfolgreiche Romanautorin. Nachdem sie einen Neulingspreis gewonnen hatte, kam ihr großer Durchbruch und ihre Bücher hatten direkt viele Fans. Nayuta Kani ist nur ihr Künstlername. Niemand, nicht einmal Itsuki kennt ihren richtigen Namen. Wie jeder Autor, hat auch sie beim Schreiben eines neuen Manuskriptes eine ganz spezielle Eigenart: Sie ist nackt.
Während ihrer Schulzeit, hatte sie einige Schwierigkeiten und eine depressive Phase. Die Bücher von Itsuki gaben ihr Mut und sie beschloss daraufhin selbst Autorin zu werden und Itsuki persönlich zu treffen. Nach einem eher unschönen ersten Treffen bei der Neulings-Preisverleihung, gestand sie ihm wenig später ihre Liebe. Itsuki lehnte ab, aber es entstand trotzdem eine tiefe Freundschaft zwischen den beiden. Und so hängt Nayuta immer, wenn es ihr möglich ist, bei Itsuki in der Wohnung, unternimmt etwas mit ihm oder macht irgendwelche perversen Witze.
