Galoombas sind eine Unterart der Goombas und kommen eher selten vor. Im Gegensatz zu Goombas haben die Galoombas jedoch keinen Unterkörper. Die Füße befinden sich direkt an ihrem Kopf. Wie auch die Goombas gehören sie zur Koopa-Truppe von König Koopa und dienen ihm hauptsächlich als Wachen. Sie sind relativ schwache Gegner, treten aber in großer Zahl auf. Wenn man auf sie springt, fallen sie um und man kann sie dann leicht aufheben und werfen.
