Metal Knight ist ein Kampf-Roboter, der mit allerlei extrem explosiven und tödlichen Waffen ausgerüstet ist. Mit dieser Ausrüstung ist es für ihn ein Leichtes, seine Gegner oder ganze Gebäude auf einmal zu pulverisieren. Rücksichtslos testet er seine neuen Waffen, auch wenn er dadurch vielleicht ganze Städte ins Verderben stürzen könnte, was ihm natürlich einiges an Missgunst einbringt und ihn nicht gerade sehr heldenhaft erscheinen lässt. Er selbst hält die Experimente für notwendig, um stärkere Waffen für die Sicherheit der Menschheit zu entwickeln. Seine wahre Identität bekommt man nie vollständig zu Gesicht und weiß somit nicht, wer hinter der Entwicklung dieser Kampfmaschine steckt.
