Nanami Kazuki ist eine hübsche und erfolgreiche junge Frau. Sie arbeitet als Angestellte in einer großen Firma. Privat teilt sie sich ein Appartement mit Kaede Fujimura, einer aufstrebenden Mangaka. Sowohl den Haushalt als auch die Einkäufe erledigt Nanami alleine, da Kaede ziemlich faul ist und ständig behauptet arbeiten zu müssen. Für ihr Familienglück hat sich Nanami den Mann ihrer Träume bereits ausgesucht: Yuuji. Die beiden führen eine Fernbeziehung, reden aber bereits übers heiraten. Nanami regt sich am Telefon gerne über Kaede auf und nachdem es Yuuji irgendwann reicht, beginnt Nanami über ihre Beziehung zu Kaede nachzudenken.
