Die Präriehündin ist dabei Holzstämme zu fällen. Doch geht sie die ganze Angelegenheit falsch an. Sie versucht nämlich die Stämme unkontrolliert aus der Erde zu graben. Auf der Suche nach Holzstämmen treffen Serval, Tasche und das Biber-Weibchen auf die Hündin. Das Biber-Weibchen zeigt der Hündin, wie sie kontrolliert einen Holzstamm fällt. Dabei freunden sie sich schnell miteinander an und die Hündin beschließt ihrer neuen Freundin bei dem Traum von einem Haus am See zu unterstützen.

Der lateinische Name des Präriehunden ist Cynomys ludovicianus, es gehört zur Gattung der Nagetiere und zur Familie der Hörnchen.
