Kurz vor dem Start von Sword Art Online bekam sie von ihrem Vater ein Nervegear, dieser hat die Hardware von Argus entwendet und wollte unbedingt den Wunsch seiner Tochter erfüllen, einmal das erste VRMMORPG zu spielen. Sie munterte ihn auf und im Verlaufe des Spiels hegten sie romantische Gefühle füreinander, so dass sie anschließend eine Beziehung eingingen. Fortan kämpften sie zusammen an der Frontlinie.
