Touma ist einer der Rekruten, welche nach dem Weggang von Haise Sasaki und dem Tod von Kisho Arima dem Squinx-Squad zugeteilt werden. Touma ist ein energischer und lustiger Mensch, welcher eher friedfertig ist und im Kampf lieber unterstützend tätig ist, anstatt selbst an vorderster Front zu kämpfen. Er bewundert Saiko Yonebayashi. Des Weiteren hat er ein Faible für Hausarbeit und kocht sehr gerne für sein Team. Er ist zudem ein begnadeter Masseur. Er interessiert sich sehr für Geschichte und will aus der Vergangenheit des CCGs für die Zukunft lernen.
