Heute hat sie die Geschicke ihres verstorbenen Großvaters übernommen und kümmert sich um die Uros. Das Verschwinden ihrer Schwester Ito hat sie allerdings immer noch nicht überwunden und versucht immer noch verzweifelt ein Lebenszeichen von ihr zu hören. Mit dem Mushishi Ginko ist sie zudem sehr gut befreundet, der ihr zwar rät ihre Suche endlich einzustellen, Aya aber dennoch etwas sehr Interessantes zeigen möchte.
