Mochigase ist der Kapitän der 9. Einheit der Bodyguards von Katahara Metsudou. Sein Name ist, wie bei allen Bodyguards, nur ein Codename. Die Bodyguards sind, mit ein paar Ausnahmen, benannt nach Gegenden in der Tottori-Präfektur. Er ist ein ehemaliger Attentäter, der versuchte, Metsudous Leben zu nehmen. Er und Yoshioka, der Kapitän der 2. Einheit der Bodyguards, kannten sich bereits, noch bevor beide zu Metsudous Bodyguards wurden. Die Maske, die er im Gesicht trägt, soll keine Wunde verdecken, sondern ist ein stylishes Accessoire. Er ist talentiert in verdeckten Operationen. Sein Geruchssinn ist so gut wie der eines Hundes.
