Als Lala eine Werbeeinblendung über eine heiße Quelle im Fernsehen gesehen hatte, überkam sie der überwältigende Drang unbedingt selbst eine heiße Quelle besuchen zu wollen, doch da in Ritos Wohnort eine solche nicht existiert, beschloss Lala selbst tätig zu werden. Das Ergebnis ihres Elans war Horu Horu Build-kun, mit dem sie tief unterhalb der Erdoberfläche nach der heiß ersehnten Quelle suchen möchte. Laut Lalas eigener Aussage ist Horu Horu Build-kun ihr perfekt gelungen. In seiner Erweiterung Mark 2 kann er bis zu einem Dutzend Passagiere aufnehmen und durchs Erdreich befördern.
