Aogu ist ein Assistent von dem Mangazeichner Kakushi Gotou. Er hilft diesem dabei, seinen erfolgreichen Manga „Windstrumpfhose“ zu zeichnen. Ab und an verlangt Kakushi auch, dass seine Assistenten auf seine Tochter Hime acht geben.

Aogu ist ein freundlicher, aber auch tollpatschiger Mensch. In einer kurzen Zeit schafft er es, sich seine Hand zweimal zu brechen und kann deshalb nicht bei der Arbeit helfen. Sein Traum ist es, selbst mal einen erfolgreichen Manga zu zeichnen.
