Aya ist ein Fuguruma-yobi (文車妖妃), was auch der Name ihrer Dämonenrasse ist, der sie angehört. Sie gehört zu einer der Amakawa- und Noihara-Familie treu ergebenen Art, die eine ganz spezielle Aufgabe erfüllen sollen: den Transport von Gegenständen und Waffen. Das Kuriose hierbei ist, die Art und Weise wie Aya die Gegenstände transportiert, nämlich in ihrem Magen. Um dann auf Befehl die Objekte freizusetzen, muss sie sich erstmal lauthals übergeben und hinterlässt natürlich eine Riesen-Schweinerei.
