Obwohl die Schweiz durch den Schutz der Alpen vor Angriffen der Neuroi relativ sicher ist, gibt es einige Militärdepots, in denen Striker Units für den Fall der Fälle gebunkert wurden. Mayer verwaltet eines dieser Depots, und beteuert, dass er die Ausrüstung in bestem Zustand gehalten hat. Die Spinnweben an der Striker Unit lassen diese Aussage zweifelhaft erscheinen, aber flugtauglich ist die Einheit tatsächlich, allerdings auch störungsanfällig.
