Episode 08 – The Waiting:
Dieser Youkai in Form eines schwarzen Schattens strahlt eine böse Aura aus, die einen negativen Effekt auf Menschen besitzt. Im Falle von Asukas Großvater und Großmutter führte die starke Kraft der Aura dazu, dass sich das liebevolle Paar andauernd stritt und ihre Tochter vernachlässigte. Diese fiel der Aura ebenfalls zum Opfer. Sie wurde krank und dachte, sie müsse sterben. Doch dann tauchte ein fremder Mann auf, der sich als Nachfahre der Ninja herausstellte, und beseitigte den Youkai.

Viele Jahre später bekam die damals erkrankte Frau eine Tochter namens Asuka, die ebenfalls erkrankte. Und wie damals war der Youkai die Ursache allen Übels. Asukas Mutter wollte ihr Leben für ihre Tochter geben und ließ sich von dem Monster attackieren. Auf einmal stand der Ninja von damals in der Wohnung und tötete den Youkai.
