Gonryoumaru (eng. Solemn Spirit) ist eines der Zanpakutos, die von Muramasa einer Gehirnwäsche unterzogen werden während der Zanpakuto Unknown Tales Arc und sich gegen ihre Shinigami-Partner stellen.

Gonryoumaru gehört zum Vizekommandanten der 1. Kompanie, Choujirou Sasakibe, und ist in etwa so unscheinbar wie sein Meister. Er spricht nicht viel und gibt fast nichts über sich preis, aber mindestens genauso still und zuverlässig absolviert er seine Aufgaben als Zanpakuto. Durch das Kommando Ugate (dt. Stich) verwandelt sich das Katana in einen französischen Degen, der auf Wunsch elektrische Blitze abfeuern kann.
