Sie geht im dritten Jahr auf die gleiche Schule wie Kenji Katasa und präsentiert sich als äußerst gewissenhafte und pflichtbewusste Schülerin, denn obwohl sie aus schulspezifischen Gründen nicht jeden Tag zur Schule erscheinen müsste, tut sie es trotzdem. Asami ist mit Kenji befreundet und mag ihn wohl auch ein Stück weit, während er keine weitergehenden Gefühle für sie hat und sie als Oberstuflerin immer mit Senpai anspricht.
