Sony Pictures Entertainment Deutschland GmbH ist ein deutscher Filmverleiher. Der Hauptsitz befindet sich in Berlin. Die Home Entertainment Abteilung hat seinen Sitz in München.

Ursprünglich als RCA/Columbia Pictures Video GmbH im Jahr 1983 gegründet, blieb das Unternehmen bis 1987 bestehen. In diesem Jahr wurde das Unternehmen als Columbia Tristar Home Video GmbH neu gegründet.

Im März 2001 wurde das Unternehmen von Columbia TriStar Home Video GmbH in Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment GmbH umbenannt. Im Dezember 2007 erfolgte aufgrund einer kompletten Umstrukturierung des Unternehmens in Deutschland eine erneute Umbenennung in Sony Pictures Home Entertainment GmbH.

Im September 2017 fusionierten die beiden Unternehmen Sony Pictures Home Entertainment GmbH und Sony Pictures Releasing GmbH, dabei entstand das neue Unternehmen Sony Pictures Entertainment Deutschland GmbH. Zur selben Zeit wurden auch noch andere Tochterunternehmen von Sony in dieses Unternehmen integriert. Dazu gehörten unter anderem Sony Pictures Television Distribution Deutschland GmbH, Sony Pictures Television Sales Deutschland GmbH, Sony Pictures Television Deutschland GmbH und SPE Music Germany GmbH. Viele der bestehenden Unternehmen wurden in Abteilungen, wie zum Beispiel Home Entertainment, umgewandelt.
