Manga: Kimi no Iru Machi Ending After 27 Volumes

posted on by Sephi-
In this year's eighth issue of their Weekly Shounen magazine Kodansha announced that Kimi no Iru Machi will end with the 27th compiled volume.

It was previously announced, that the limited edition of the 28th compiled volume will contain another OAD, yet it would seem that this was a false announcement. They now stated, that said OAD will be contained in the 27th and final volume of the manga.

The manga will finish in the eleventh issue on February 12th and the 27th compiled volume will be released together with a 200-page spin-off centered around Nagato on March 27th, 2014 in Japan.

In 2012 the manga already received a two-part OAD-series and in 2013 a 12-episode-long anime adaption followed. The two last OAD episodes of the series will be released on January 17th and March 27th.

Kodansha has been publishing Kouji Seo's manga since 2008, after he finished his Suzuka, which was adapted as a 24-episode-long anime series in 2005 as well.

Kimi no Iru MachiYuzuki Eba used to live in Tokyo but moved to her father's hometown, Hiroshima. There, an old friend of her father agrees to take her in and so she came to live in the Kirishima household. Haruto, the Kirishima's son is anything but pleased by that fact, for he thinks a boy and a girl of the same age, who aren't relatives should, by no means, be living together! Considering his feelings for his classmate Nanami Kanzaki, he tries his very best to prevent a certain misunderstanding from being born of his predicament. The only problem with that, however, is Yuzuki's slowly growing feelings for Haruto and her habit of openly showing these.
