Vor einiger Zeit gab es einmal einen Wissenschaftler, der als »verrücktes Genie« bekannt war. Er hinterließ der Welt viele sagenhafte Erfindungen, die von den Menschen, den Organisationen und Ländern als »Das Vermächtnis« bezeichnet wird. In der Gegenwart, inmitten des Meeres, wird das »SphereLab« Institut für Umweltzirkulation von einer bewaffneten Gruppe besetzt gehalten.

Ziel der Gruppe ist die Inbesitznahme des Vermächtnisses, das sich innerhalb des Institutes befindet. Wegen größerer Schwierigkeiten, in das Institut zu gelangen, wird als letzte Trumpfkarte ein Mädchen eingesetzt. Trotz dieser merkwürdigen Wahl scheint das Mädchen mehr als alle anderen über das Vermächtnis zu wissen und zudem sind alle Personen von ihrer Schönheit fasziniert.
