Description

Yachiyo Inugami only resembles a dog in name, for she is a fanatic cat lover and would love nothing more than meeting an actual cat-girl. Once she starts attending high school she can’t believe her own luck – she meets Suzu Nekoyama. Suzu, who bears a similar contradiction Yachiyo does – resembling a cat in name, yet loving dogs to death – is immediately made into Yachiyo’s prey. It’s open season on Suzu!

Wie glücklich trifft es sich also, dass sie, frisch auf der High School, dort auf Suzu Nekoyama trifft, deren katzengleiche Persönlichkeit ebenfalls im Widerspruch zu ihrer Liebe zu Hunden steht. "Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san" is a delightful yuri manga filled with humor and heartwarming moments. The dynamic between the titular characters, a dog-like girl and a cat-like girl, is both adorable and entertaining. Highly recommended for fans of cute and quirky romance.😘

The vast majority of this book is a delightful, sweet, and funny look into the lives of a group of disaster lesbians attending school together. All of them have crushes on everyone else — the book does not shy away from depicting how hormonal teenagers are — but each of them is in love with a specific other girl. Once Soma shows up a little more than halfway into the run, she drags down every storyline she's involved with by being the absolute worst, but aside from her everything else is still delightful.
EDIT: I have to amend my review. I was growing more and more concerned about the direction the book was going, so I did some checking ahead, and as it turns out,

there is no payoff in the main relationship, focus increasingly shifts to the Soma storylines, and it doesn't really have an ending.

As such I've revised my story score and overall rating.
