Yoshiko ist eine Highschool-Schülerin, die vieles im Sinn hat ‒ nur lernen nicht. Dies ist der Grund, warum sie regelmäßig 0 Punkte in ihren Testen sammelt und ihr Umfeld in den Wahnsinn treibt. Allen voran ihren Kindeheitsfreund A-Kun, von dem sie behauptet, dass sie ihn liebt. Wegen ihrer aufgedrehten und naiven Art, wird sie von allen „dumm“ genannt, sogar von ihrer eigenen Mutter. A-Kuns Aufgabe ist es nun Yoshikos Art zu ändern, sie zum Lernen zu bringen und sie ‒ wie er es nennt ‒ vom Affen zum Menschen zu entwickeln.
