Vor sechs Jahren wurde der Junge Tsukihiko in ein Attentat auf ein kleines Mädchen namens Sami verwickelt, als er versuchte sie zu schützen. Durch diesen Vorfall wurden beide beinahe getötet.

Jedoch war Sami die Tochter einer extrem mächtigen Familie und so war es dieser mit ihrer riesigen Menge an Ressourcen möglich, sowohl Sami als auch Tsukihiko am Leben zu erhalten, indem ihre Körper mit Cyborg-Technologie wiederhergestellt wurden.

Dies hatte jedoch zur Folge, dass Sami immer auf die Verkabelung mit ihrem lebenserhaltenden Computer angewiesen ist. Tsukihiko auf der anderen Seite wurde zu so etwas wie einem »Cyborg-Ritter«, der geschworen hat, Sami vor jeglicher Gefahr zu beschützen.
