Mitsuki Koroki va a primero de bachillerato. Es una chica normal y corriente, enamorada de su compañero y vecino Ren. Así lo fue, hasta su decimosexto cumpleaños… Ese día, en un festival del barrio, la felicidad la sorprende: Ren le regala un collar y pasa lo que ella considera el momento más feliz de su vida.
