Als seine Mutter seine Zeichnungen entdeckte, war der Wunsch eine normale High School zu besuchen für Saga Shigekata gegessen. Um sein Talent zu fördern wurde er auf die Ikebukuro Krea Akademie geschickt. Eine Schule die als »Otaku Schule« bekannt ist, da sie jungen Leuten unter anderem das Zeichnen von Mangas beibringt. Shigekata trifft an seinem ersten Tag ein Mädchen in einem Cosplay-Kostüm, die ihm die Schule zeigt. Ihr Name ist Miyakawa Hinari. Später stellt sich heraus, dass sie die Schülerpräsidentin ist und daher es als ihre Aufgabe sieht Shigekata zu »trainieren«, um seine zeichnerischen Talente weiterzuentwickeln. Damit beginnt für ihn ein Schulalltag, in welchem er neue Freunde kennenlernt und seine Leidenschaft für Mangas entdeckt.
