In der Welt der Dämonenclans tobt ein erbitterter Krieg. Der Grund dafür ist eine uralte Waffe, die sich einer Legende zufolge im Besitz des Drachenclans befindet und deren ungeheure magische Kraft den Clan seit Urzeiten beschützt. Als der junge Drachendämon Darian Kin’jo mit seinen Freunden völlig unerwartet auf genau dieses Buch stößt, gerät sein Leben völlig aus den Fugen. Schon bald muss er feststellen, dass das »Grimoire« nicht nur einen eigenen Willen hat, sondern auch einen einen Plan, der sich für alle Beteiligten als lebensgefährlich erweist...
