Vor langer Zeit herrschte ein großer Krieg zwischen den Drachen, der fast die ganze Welt zerstört hätte. Doch die Lichtdrachen wussten, dass ihre Kraft zu mächtig war und versiegelten ihre Kräfte zum Wohle der Erde.

Nach mehreren Jahrhunderten kamen jedoch die dunklen Drachen zurück. Mit der Macht der Göttin erlangten sie ihre alten Kräfte zurück. Nachdem das Dorf Dragnier, Heimat der Lichtdrachen, in Schutt und Asche gelegt wurde, zieht Sara, eine junge Lichtdrachenmaid, in den Krieg, in welchem sie fällt. Ihr Bruder Ryuu will nun Rache für seine Schwester und das Ende der dunklen Drachen.
