La información puede ser vital, salvar miles de vida, levantar y destruir reinos enteros. Pero encontrar a la persona adecuada para transportarla es casi tanto o más importante que el mensaje en sí. No es fácil encontrar a alguien dispuesto a arriesgar su vida para que una misiva llegue a su destino, o capaz de dejarlo todo por cumplir una misión. Pero en un mundo lleno de peligros, el oficio de mensajero es absolutamente imprescindible... y más aún una buena reputación. El lema de Banya es "rapidez, precisión y seguridad", y se ha ganado a pulso su fama de infalible... y de implacable: no tiene ningún tipo de remordimiento a la hora de cumplir su misión, que para él está por encima de todo.

In un mondo fantastico che ricorda il medioevo estremo-orientale, anche una cosa apparentemente semplice e ovvia come portare a termine una consegna può rivelarsi un’avventura estremamente rischiosa o addirittura mortale. È per questo che esistono persone come Banya, eroico e indomito corriere disposto a sfidare mille pericoli pur di portare a termine le missioni affidategli! Amici e “colleghi” di Banya sono Mei, ragazza furba e facilmente irritabile, e K’ong, un ragazzino dalle mille risorse. Non ci sono luoghi a loro inaccessibili: che si tratti di attraversare una città assediata o di inoltrarsi in una foresta maledetta, tutti gli incarichi vengono portati a compimento in modo “rapido, preciso e sicuro”! L’unica cosa che il committente deve fare è… pagare! Non tutte le missioni sono però uguali, soprattutto quando si scopre che dall’esito di una consegna possono addirittura dipendere le sorti di un intero regno di cui qualcuno vuole ostinatamente la fine!
