Immer mehr Müll wird einfach im Meer entsorgt und beeinträchtigt dadurch das Leben seiner Bewohner. Einer der Bewohner des Meeres, Ika Musume (Tintenfischmädchen), will das nicht länger hinnehmen und beschließt deshalb die Menschheit als Rache zu unterwerfen...im Alleingang. Ikas Eroberungsfeldzug endet jedoch schon im nächstgelegenen Strandcafé, wo sie wegen mutwilliger Zerstörung einer Seitenwand von den Besitzern dazu verdonnert wird, den Schaden abzuarbeiten. Von den Fähigkeiten der Landbewohner und deren Widerstandskraft gegen ihre Eroberungsversuche zwar überrascht, gibt Ika aber nicht auf und schmiedet insgeheim weiter an Plänen wie sie ihr Ziel doch noch erreichen kann.
