Protagonist der Serie ist Hisui Kujou, dessen „absolut ordinärer Alltag“ am ersten Tag der High-School durch die Begegnung mit Rushella Daamu Draculea, ein Ende findet. Nicht nur ihre Erinnerungen hat Rushella verloren, Hisui scheint auch noch immun gegen ihre Vampirkräfte zu sein. Auf der Suche nach dem Grund macht sie sich bei ihm zuhause breit und schreibt sich auch in seiner Schule ein.

Aufgrund dessen ist Hisui quasi gezwungen, ihr dabei zu helfen, ihr Gedächtnis wiederzuerlangen. Jedoch wird dies kein einfaches Unterfangen, denn die Probleme nehmen nach und nach überhand.
