A Love in 100 Days handelt von einem Mädchen namens Ria, das bei einen Unfall ums Leben gekommen und nach ihrem Tod ein Engel geworden ist. Ria hat ihr vergangenes Leben nicht für einen Augenblick vergessen können. Sie vermisst ihren Freund, Ban Ji Hwan, so sehr, dass sie an nichts anderes denken kann als an ihn. Ein Jahr später ist ihr der Name ihres Freundes in der Todesliste aufgefallen, in welcher alle Namen eingetragen sind, die innerhalb der nächsten 100 Jahre sterben werden. So bittet sie einen der hochrangigsten Engel, ihn vor seinem Schicksal retten zu können. Durch seine Einwilligung wird Ria zurück auf die Erde geschickt, welche dann den Körper von So Hae, einem schüchternen Mädchen, das die Schnauze voll von ihrem Leben hat und von der Persönlichkeit her außerdem das völlige Gegenteil Rias ist, besetzt. Da Ria nur für Ji Hwan zurück gekommen ist, hält sie So Haes gemeine Stiefgeschwister aus. Als sie ihn jedoch wieder trifft, erkennt er sie nicht wieder...
