Der 14-jährige Amon Debochi war schon immer leidenschaftlich und tendierte dazu, an jemandem Dampf abzulassen. Er lebte ein normales Leben: Er ging zur Schule, traf sich mit Freunden und träumte von seinem Schwarm Sako Shinomoto. Als er eines Tages mal wieder Dampf ablassen muss, taucht ein drittes Auge auf seiner Stirn auf und eine sprechende eulenähnliche Gestalt, die sich selbst Goomin nennt, erscheint. Beide sind von der Situation überwältigt. Schließlich gelingt es jedoch Goomin, Amon die Lage zu erklären. Er ist nun dazu fähig, Feuer zu erschaffen. Es erscheint, wenn seine Leidenschaft wächst. Sein Wunsch, etwas beschützen zu wollen, wie beispielsweise seinen Schwarm Sako, löst die Verwandlung zu einer dämonenartigen Gestalt aus und seine Flammen werden von Gier angetrieben. Nun muss Amon lernen, seine neue Kraft zu kontrollieren, um die Menschheit vor Engeln zu beschützen!
