Synopsis

“Kimino Tamenara Shineru” is loosely based on the life of Sei Shonagon, author of the work “The Pillow Book”. She lived around the year 1000.

27-year-old Shonagon is an unemployed, unmotivated couch potato that somehow managed to get a job as the private tutor of the 13-year-old Princess Teishi. Shonagon falls in love with the princess and tries to get closer to her, though all her advances fail … Furthermore, there are also complications with some of the other ladies of the court. Does the love between the two ladies still stand a chance?
