Die 33-jährige Kadokura Kyouko ist Lehrerin an einer Grundschule ‒ und alleinstehend. Ihren Beruf liebt sie und sie hat sie doch eine sanfte und fürsorgliche Ader. Doch da sie lediglich bei ihren Schülern beliebt ist sehen ihre Chancen, noch irgendwann zu heiraten eher mau aus.

Doch da gibt es Yamato Kazuki, einen 20-jährigen Studenten. Dieser hat neben seinem Ziel Atsronaut zu werden, noch ein weiteres ‒ Kyouko zu heiraten. Bereits seit sie seine eigene Lehrerin war, ist er in sie verliebt. Nun, da er erwachsen ist und eigenes Geld verdient, entschließt sich Kazuki einen Ring zu kaufen und ihr einen Antrag zu machen, den Kyouko in annimmt ‒ in gewisser Hinsicht.

Auch wenn diese beiden grundverschiedenen Persönlichkeiten nun ein Paar sind, scheint sich ihre bisherige Beziehung als Lehrer-Schüler kaum verändert zu haben...
