Matsushita Tadashi ist ein Oberschüler der Kangokou Oberschule in Osaka, Japan und im zweiten Jahr. Zudem auch das dauerhafte Opfer zahlreicher Tyrannen seiner Schule, welche ihn routinemäßig nach der Schule zusammenschlagen. Sein bester Freund, Saitou Takaki, ist in der gleichen Situation.

Nach einer gewissen Zeit haben es beide endgültig satt, ständig schikaniert zu werden, weshalb sie beschließen, dem Karate-Club beizutreten. Allerdings läuft nicht alles so wie erhofft, denn als sie dem Club beitreten, merken sie schnell, dass es dort kaum anders abläuft und die Mitglieder es nun auf sie abgesehen haben. Werden sie sich nun auch von ihnen schikanieren lassen?
