Actually, Akari only wants to find the legendary walking doll because she is so infatuated with dolls. But what she finds instead is a thousand times better: the otaku vampire Sophie Twilight is the perfect doll for Akari, so she immediately wants to move in with Sophie. For the modern vampire, this would be no problem if it were not for her absolute obsession. Because Sophie lives in her very own world: she understandably avoids sunlight, buys her blood from the internet and watches anime or plays video games. So a strange flatmate is more or less no big deal. But because the two are so fundamentally different, the simplest activities quickly degenerate into funny or chaotic situations.

Eigentlich wollte Akari nur die legendäre wandelnde Puppe finden, da so sehr in Puppen vernarrt ist. Doch was sie findet, ist tausendmal besser: Die Otaku-Vampirin Sophie Twilight ist die perfekte Puppe für Akari, weshalb sie auch sofort bei Sophie einziehen möchte. Für die moderne Vampirin stellt das eigentlich kein Problem dar, wäre da nicht ihre absolute Obsession. Denn Sophie lebt eigentlich auch in ihrer ganz eigenen Welt. Sie meidet verständlicherweise das Sonnenlicht, kauft ihr Blut aus dem Internet und schaut Animes oder zockt Videospiele. Da ist eine komische Mitbewohnerin mehr oder weniger auch nicht schlimm. Doch weil die beiden so grundverschieden sind, arten einfachste Aktivitäten schnell zu lustigen oder chaotischen Situationen aus.
