Als Kind reicher Eltern hat Ayumi immer alles bekommen, was er wollte. Nur die Goldfische, die ein anderes Kind auf dem Jahrmarkt gewonnen hat, konnte ihm keiner geben. Dieses sehnsüchtige Verlangen kann Ayumi seitdem nicht vergessen. Inzwischen ist er erwachsen und geht in die Uni. Dort lernt er Chiaki kennen, der angeblich mit jedem ins Bett geht. Von diesen Gerüchten lässt sich Ayumi jedoch nicht beirren und freundet sich mit ihm an. Als Chiaki sich jedoch einseitig verliebt, weckt das in Ayumi den Wunsch, ihn ganz für sich allein zu haben …
