Nach den Ereignissen aus dem ersten Manga, startet Sakura Kinomoto nun in ihr neues Leben als Mittelschülerin. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden freut sie sich auch schon riesig auf diesen neuen Lebensabschnitt, doch die Freude währt nur kurz, denn eines nachts, ereilt Sakura ein merkwürdiger Traum, der ihr wie eine Art Prophezeiung vorkommt. In diesem begegnet ihr eine mysteriöse Person und alle gesammelten Clow Cards werden komplett weiß und machtlos, was sie nur kurz darauf auch in der Realität feststellen muss. Mit neuen Kräften findet sich Sakura nun in einem neuen Abenteuer wieder und muss gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden nun die transparenten Karten aufspüren und fangen.
