Im mysteriösen Ort Ruberia leben Wolfsmenschen, die man Loup-Ga nennt und die von den Menschen gefürchtet und gehasst werden. Kurz nachdem die junge Nina an diesen Ort gezogen ist, begegnet sie auf der Straße einer düsteren Gestalt – ein Flüchtling aus dem berühmt-berüchtigten Gefängnis Abigaile! Nina versucht, ihn aufzuhalten, doch wird von ihm gebissen und verliert das Bewusstsein. Als sie erwacht, befindet sie sich auf direktem Wege nach Abigaile. Und das ist noch nicht alles: Sie selbst hat sich zu einem Loup-Ga mit Wolfsohren und einem Schwanz verwandelt!
