Seishun Kinema (2016)

In every class there’s this one bright and flashy guy, who just seems to get along with everyone. Todo tries hard to maintain this happy-go-lucky image, but in reality, he’s got a huge complex about the small size of his “little Todo down there.” Although he wants to get a girlfriend, he’s far too afraid to let anybody know about his problem, so as to not become a laughing stock and lose the popular status amongst his classmates.

Yamamoto, however, is the complete opposite of him: a dark and gloomy-looking person, who’s always alone in class. But what happens, when this guy of all people gets wind of Todo’s problem?

In jeder Klasse gibt es diese eine Person, die sich mit allen gut zu verstehen scheint. Die, die immer fröhlich ist, Späße macht und herumalbert. Todo strengt sich an, dieses Image des „Stimmungsmachers der Klasse“ aufrecht zu erhalten. Doch auch jemand wie er hat Probleme: Sein kleiner Freund da unten ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eines – klein! Wie soll er so bloß jemals eine Freundin finden? Jedes Mädchen würde ihn doch auslachen, es würde die Runde machen und damit wäre sein Status in der Klasse dahin!

Yamamoto hingegen ist das komplette Gegenteil von Todo: Ein stiller und mysteriöser Junge – der Außenseiter der Klasse. Doch was passiert, wenn ausgerechnet diese Person Todos kleines Problem herausfindet?
