Ariji ist Student und arbeitet an einem Forschungsprojekt mit Blumenhefe. Als Takashina zufällig bei ihm im Labor vorbeikommt, ist er sofort von Arijis Duft begeistert. Takashina hat nämlich einen sehr feinen Geruchssinn und alles um ihn herum stinkt für ihn! Da er sieht, wie Ariji ständig Missgeschicke passieren, bietet er seine Hilfe an, doch Ariji lehnt strikt ab, aus dem Grund, ihm nichts schuldig sein zu wollen. Also macht ihm Takashina einen Vorschlag: Im Gegenzug für seine Hilfe darf er täglich an ihm riechen. Wird Ariji diesem absurden Vorschlag zustimmen?
