Description

Haebom’s parents died when he was still very young. His mother’s best friend then decides to take him in. Now Haebom lives with Taesung. The two had been best friends since childhood and even promised to marry later. In high school, however, their relationship falls apart due to misunderstandings. Will they manage to sort out these misunderstandings? And can they then become friends again … like they used to be?
Haeboms Eltern starben, als dieser noch sehr jung war. Die beste Freundin seiner Mutter beschließt daraufhin, ihn bei sich aufzunehmen. Haebom lebt jetzt bei Taesung. Die beiden waren beste Freunde seit Kindertagen und haben sich damals sogar versprochen, später zu heiraten. In der Oberschule bricht aber aufgrund von Missverständnissen die Beziehung der beiden auseinander. Werden sie es schaffen und diese Missverständnisse aus der Welt schaffen? Und können sie dann auch wieder Freunde werden … so wie früher?

There is bullying and some psychopaths along the way, but thankfully never any drama that takes it too far. We follow these two boys from age 18 in high school through college to their adult working lives. Both are quite flawed individuals (e.g. one is a total doormat and the other is emotionally stunted), and the story starts with both of them living under one roof but thinking the other one hates them and being uncomfortable at home for several reasons. It takes them some time to learn to communicate and clear all misunderstandings, and that's just the beginning.

I like possessive/obsessive characters like Taesung. Haebom was a bit flat and uninteresting in the beginning, but grew nicely. The plot had some drama, humour and fluffiness - later on there was also quite a bit ob sexy. It revolved around our two MCs and the drama was added by bullies, stalkers, lying scum and the pressure of hiding their sexuality and relationship.

This webtoon has four seasons and 128 chapters.
