Bereits im Kindesalter wurde Aaron von den Menschen wie ein Tier behandelt und zu einem Mörder ausgebildet. In dieser Zeit spendete ihm sein Kinderbuch, das von einem Engel mit blauen Augen handelte, Trost und Hoffnung. Nach all den Morden trifft er eines Tages auf das Mädchen Layla, in dem er seinen einst geliebten Engel wiedererkennt. Obwohl er selbst die Eltern des Kindes getötet hat, beschließt er, Layla in die Künste des Tötens einzuweihen. Da er keinen Sinn mehr im Leben sieht, hofft er, dass sie ihn eines Tages umbringen würde …
